A delicate question

I have a question to put forth to all you females.

I donโ€™t grow a lot of hair (this is true of my head, and the rest of me) and itโ€™s thin and sparse. I actually use Tโ€™s castoff safety razor, which he says go blunt after he uses them once or twice, and it suits me fine as I only do my arms a few times a week and my legs a lot less often.

Iโ€™ve never tried waxing, or in fact anything else in that department.

So, just what do you do for hair removal, and especially in, shall we say, other body areas?

In my “other” body areas I have had it laser removed. But before that I shaved.

I’ve never been a big waxing fan aside from my face (lip and eyebrows). I also get a lot of white heads in waxed areas 2-3 days after waxing. Antibiotic creams help a little bit not entirely, and I don’t like the idea of my ENTIRE “down there” region covered in little whiteheads.

Consider yourself lucky that your hair is thin and sparse – my body hair is thick and dark and a pain in the ass. ๐Ÿ˜‰

If T’s castoffs work for you, I’d just keep on chugging with them. I have replaced my razor (just for underarms and “touch ups”) only once in the last two years. Sounds like T might need an electric if he goes through them so quickly though. =)

Ugh. I hate hair removal. I’ve tried Nair and waxing and they both SUCK. Probably because I’m not a professional. I resort to good old shaving – I use a Venus razor (gentler on my skin).

I really want lazer hair removal, but it’s not in the budget just yet… ๐Ÿ™ Plus, I’m waiting to see if there are some sort of weird, skin-altering side effects that haven’t shown up yet on all the guinea pigs that have already tried it.

I hate body hair!!!! I would LOVE to laser is all off!!!

But, I shave. I pluck my eyebrows, I use Nair on my upper lip and shave the rest of me.

I shave my legs. Nair my arms. Wax & pluck eyebrows & upperlips. (Although to be honest, I usually just ignore my arms as it’s fairly fine.)

I strongly suggest that you use nair for your arms instead of shaving. Hair on the arms iis much finer than leg hair and you shouldn’t shave that area.

Not sure what you mean by “other areas”….

If you’re talking about underarm hair, I personally have no experience but my friend told me that plucking underarm hair is the best method. If you’re talking about uh… “Down there”. Also something that I’m not very experienced in, my friend also told me the brazillian wax hurts like hell but effective.

The only place I wax is my eyebrows. I am lucky to have very light, fine hair so I only have to shave my legs once a week in the summer and once… a month sometimes in the winter ๐Ÿ™‚ Hehe.

I shave my legs & bikini area & armpits. Luckily my body hair is blond, so there’s nothing I need to do anywhere else. And I do nothing to my eyebrows, but I probably should start!

I just wax eyebrows because I can’t tweeze straight to save my life. Everything else is shaved but I’m kind of tempted to look into other options because lately, I’ve been getting bumps after shaving my legs and it’s uncomfortable.

I use a tweezer for my eyebrows, shave legs and underarms and trim other areas. You’re lucky that you don’t have much hair!
