Picky, picky…

I was recently given a really nice, stylish black wallet. I even went as far as moving all my stuff over, but once I’d completed the changeover I went right back to my old fat purple wallet with the bow. It wasn’t big enough to fit all my cards in, the layout was weird, and it just didn’t feel right.

I get the feeling my hunt for my new bag will also be long and arduous. It’s gotta be the right size, and shape. It’s got to be cute. I want two handles, long enough to wear on my shoulder, and preferably rounded with some structure, not soft and floppy. I’d like brown or tan, with a few different pockets for my bits and pieces.

We also got a new kettle, as our old one stopped working. The new one is strange to me. The button is in a different place and the water level strip is a totally different colour and in a different place.

I know, I’m strange…but I like to think I’m just set in my ways.

Don’t settle. You’ll feel incredible peeved that you did.

It’s my #1 rule when I shop 🙂 Which is why it takes me months to find something great…

I’m the exact same way…I got new glasses–work paid for most of them–and I can’t wear them. I wear my old ones every day ’cause the new ones look funny (and the lenses make the ground closer…it’s SCARY, i tell you!). i heart my old glasses but they are > 5 years old and will fall apart one day. they frame my face perfectly and set off my skin tone so well…but the frames were discontinued so there’s no way i can get new ones. 🙁

having such specific requirements drive people that I’m shopping with CRAZY loco…so i usually go solo. 🙂

    hold out for perfection!!

Did your eye prescription change? Sounds like they might have if the ground is looming closer for you 🙂 when I got new ones I had wicked headaches because everything was so sharp, but I got used to them within a couple of gays.

What brand are your glasses? Maybe you could find another style in their range?

    Amen to smart shopping!
