What is the one thing you always return to?

I’m curious.

What is that thing for you? The thing you love most, never tire of, that is is never a chore or a drag for you?

For me, it’s reading. I take books anywhere (I’m old-school, don’t believe in e-books, although I’m the biggest smartphone addict ever). I will read on public transport. In the toilet. During the ads, if I’m watching TV in real time. While stirring the pot for dinner. Even while walking, sometimes.

Reading requires nothing of me, just the energy to focus my eyes, hold a book up, turn the pages.

I never DON’T want to read, although sometimes I may not have the time for it, or am just too tired.

T can’t fall asleep without having the TV on. I like to doze off with my nose in a book.

Books are my first love.

What about you?

I am the same way. Reading is my first love and what I want to do the most. I can’t imagine a time where I WON’T want to read!

Although, I am a huge e-book fan. It makes reading so much more convenient and easier! At least for me. It’s not for everyone. 🙂

Food is as reliable as anything! I love to read the New York Times in paper form. It reminds me of when I was young(er). I just received a Kindle (ereader) for Father’s Day and I am getting hooked very quickly. I like the convenience of not going to the library, yet still withdraw ebooks from the library.

I really enjoy taking a nice brisk walk. It doesn’t really matter where or when. It just something about walking that really gets me relaxed and at peace. Even when my feet are sore or my ankles are swollen, I’m always up for a walk.

Bad Food and Good Books. It is hard to choose between them, especially when they go so well together!

I love reading for fun! I just don’t do it as much anymore because my schedule is so crammed with other things. I did treat myself to a spy novel when I went on vacation last month and I had a blast reading.

I like reading a lot. I enjoy running a lot. But i wouldn’t call either my “one thing”. I don’t really have a one thing, I guess, I go through phases.

Also, ebooks are SO convenient if you are an avid reader!

I’m a reader as well. When I was a kid I’d cart books around with me EVERYWHERE, literally. I’d have books stashed around the house, even. lol Yay reading!

    Drinking.

NO…seriously: I’ve gotta agree with lkrant that it’s food. Food, food, glorious food. Especially when combined with a book, magazine or newspaper over breakfast. 😉

Listening to music. There’s something to suit absolutely every occasion and every mood. Except when I’m in one of those shitty moods where NOTHING seems to fit, but then, that’s just me being picky.

Okay wait. And reading as well. Always. But i discovered books before music.
