Hello there! We’ve finally escaped the Mediterranean heat and are cooling off in Paris. A little too much, perhaps; yesterday brought the first rain we’ve been exposed to in a couple of months, putting a damper on the day. Ah well, we had three decent days before that, and a couple more ahead of us. Can I just say: WE LOVE PARIS. Weather and language barrier aside (and maybe the prices), I could definitely live here. It reminds us of London, but with better food, and just generally all-around more awesome.

I haven’t been doing as much reading as I’d like to, but here’s what’s caught my eye so far this month:

Glad you are enjoying Paris! When I left it was starting to get rainy too (am around Bordeaux at the moment and it’s much better) Paris is a bit sad in the rain but great eateries to go hide from the rain make up for it.

You know, I am really, really impressed with how you guys are still traveling and for so long! I would like to do the same but I think I’d really get homesick after 30 days. Also, the financials to be able to do so is nothing to sneeze at, also the uncertainty of what to do once you guys get back.

Any interest in writing a guest post on FS about how you guys are doing it and how you overcame the uncertainty? I’m on a 10+ weeks a year travel binge myself, but I’m going bit by bit and spreading things out. Off for 10 days tomorrow again as I need a break.

Let me know about the post and when you guys come to SF!

    Cheers,

    Sam

Sounds fun! Things are going to pick up pace from now till our return home but I’m sure I can pen something at some point. Will drop you a line 🙂
