I just wanted normal skin

I’ve been cursed with oily skin for as long as I remember – or at least since the onset of puberty. Once I realised just what a grease pit my face looked like during the day, I got intimately acquainted with oil-absorbing sheets and foundations to control the slick. (The Maybelline makeup worked well, as did the Body Shop blotting sheets. I only ever used the powdered version, although the purple one also looked like a goodie). You can check here Dermodality Skin Solutions product. The aim of this article is to educate you on radiant skin solutions to the most common skin problems. The skin may project a tough appearance, but it too has its limits. You have the depleted cancer-causing ozone layer, the pollution-filled acne-inducer environment, and the drying and ultra-warm atmospheric temperature to cause damage. By doubling your efforts of maintaining a healthy skin, you prevent a lifetime of regrets as you see the age spots, fine lines, sagging skin, wrinkles, and many other problems appear and multiply one after the other. protect yourself from the sun. No matter how you stay indoors or stay covered, the sun has a way of reaching your sensitive skin. Thus, rather than having a physical structure cover your skin, shielding it from the sun through protectants is better. In choosing skin regimen solutions such as cleansers, scrubs, creams, and sunscreen, check the chemicals they contain to make sure that they are not harmful to you. Using them will be counterproductive to your overall goal of achieving radiantly healthy skin. Beverly Johnson researches radiant skin solutions [http://healthy-clear-skin-site.com/blog/One-Skincare-Brand—Xtend-Life—Gives-Women-More-Youthful-Skin-At-Every-Age] that help you succeed in attaining healthy beautiful skin. Tired of your dry skin? Looking for a cure? Here is one effective dry skin solution for you. This solution will not only combat roughness, dryness and itchiness of the skin but will also provide you relief from other common skin problems like age spots, fine lines and wrinkles. It is the harmful solar radiations sucking the natural moisture from your skin; the strong wind blowing right on your face depriving it from its moisture, harsh soaps and cleansers strong enough to drain away the skin’s natural moisture content. All these factors harm your skin and leave you with a dry and rough skin. The basic and primary dry skin solution is of course to prevent this kind of harm from happening. Drink lots of water to keep the skin well hydrated, wear wide brimmed hats to avoid the sun, use a soft cleanser and frequently wash your face with fresh and clean water. But this alone is not sufficient. This will help in avoiding the problem but not curing the already done damage to the skin. For this you need a complete dry skin solution which can penetrate right through your skin and hydrate it from within. This is not as difficult as it sounds. Mother Nature has actually done it all for you. You just need to choose the right natural substances which can maintain the natural moisture content in the skin, and nourish and rejuvenate it.

But something changed this year. I’m a lot dryer, a lot flakier, and even itchy at times. It’s so uncomfortable, I actually kinda miss my old skin. Result: new routine. I’m focusing on moisturising, rather than mattifying. I carry a sample size moisturiser around with me everywhere, have given up on mud masks, and worst of all, the permanent pinkness in my cheeks is spreading across my face. Now I’m slathering on Vitamin E cream at night, a rich Nivea with SPF by day, even the aqeuous cream I use for eczema in spots. I’m contemplating trying Bio Oil as a moisturiser next.

Of course, I still have really reflective skin, so most of my face still LOOKS oily sans makeup anyway. I just can’t win 😛

Could it be that the weather is drying you out? Or perhaps you’re starting to use something you’re allergic to – some sort of soap or shampoo or face cloth?

Ha ha, I’ve always battled with my skin. When i was younger, mine was super oily (which I should probably be happy about since my skin is still pretty youthful). Now I also battle allergic eczema (brought on by the weather) on either side of my chin & my eyebrows and eyeylids. My poor skin! I’ve found that creams with ceramides in them really help to rebuild your protective layer of skin to combat eczema. My favorite was Ceranade by Alba, but it just go discontinued. CeraVe is available at drug stores, but not quite as good. I feel for ya!

Ever try a dermatologist? If your skin is changing and weird, something might be wrong.

@The Asian Pear – no, i haven’t changed anything, so i think maybe it’s just a genetic thing – my mum has quite dry skin now as well.

@meinmillions – i definitely would like to see a dermatologist one day, it’s such a huge expense though!
