Another one of those things I never imagined

I am the owner of a Mont Blanc pen. Quite frankly, I am at a loss at to what to do with it. I ain’t gonna write with it; what could I possibly write that’s important enough to warrant it? No, aside from T and I briefly inking “I love yous” just to check that it, you know, worked, I can’t fathom a good reason to use it. Signing for our own house? Or some kind of million-dollar contract? Our children’s birth certificates? Some other worthy, momentous occasion. But in the meantime, I HAVE A MONT BLANC PEN.

Use it for everything!!!!!! And smile while you’re at it. What is the point of having it if you are going to put it in a box and never see it? Refill ink is not that expensive. Just don’t leave it anywhere.

Why did you get such a fancy pen? I imagine it must’ve been a gift? I would totally lose such an expensive pen… all mine are cheapies!

Graduation gift from a family friend. I’ve met him ONCE.

He sent it from Singapore. A bit awkward, as he included an insurance form which valued it at $200. Not sure if that was a mistake on his part.

I have never heard of Mont Blanc. Apparently I live under a rock? I’ll have to Google it!

Although, I do appreciate a really good pen, so yay for you! lol

Ha, so funny! I got a Waterman pen (not nearly as nice, but still nice) a few years ago for Christmas and I asked myself the same thing. I have used it to sign checks…boring.

Use it! It’s useless if you don’t use it!
And if the ink runs out, you simply buy the refills right. 🙂
