Joining the Yakezie

Just a quick note to say that I’m jumping on the Yakezie bandwagon!

Like with most other things, I’m late to the party. When I first started hearing about the challenge, I didn’t really understand what it was all about.

Okay, so I’m still not quite positive, but I’ll make it up as I go along. I mean, how hard can it be? I waste far too much time blogging already, so why not add a bit of focus?

From what I understand, it’s about community. Not unlike, say, participating in carnivals. Some retweet love, some more material in my weekly link roundups, some more great posts for me to comment on.

I’m starting with an Alexa ranking of  742,699, so I’m ripe for climbing the ladder.

Hopefully nobody minds that I’m kind of PF-lite, life-heavy. Take me as I am. Love me and accept me. Or else I’ll..er…slink back to my far corner of the world and sulk.

I just joined too. Here’s hoping my number decreases… even though it’s gone UP since I’ve joined the challenge!

Dude, mine just went up as well. Fail.

Hey, maybe it’s like losing weight! Fluctuations are to be expected.

Welcome to the group. I joined in March and it’s been the best thing… I have my tribe!

Be sure to register on the yakezie.com forums and join in!

I joined it too but I’m so bad and mine has gone down since I joined. Sad day!

Welcome to the Yakezie group eemusings, me in millions, and Figuring out money! I’m sure your numbers will get better soon enough. Since there is no centralized list as of yet, just make yourself known in the forums and be sure to visit the member sites often and leave comments and include the good articles in roundups and the like.

I’ve only been in it for a little over 2 months, so I’m still learning as well.

Welcome to Yakezie! I started at 9.6 million and am down to 180k in under 6 months, so the Yakezie group can really work wonders. 🙂

I second Bucksome Boomer and suggest that you join the forums and get involved. There is a group doing the 31 Days to Build a Better Blog right now, and newcomers are welcome to jump in anytime.

Another way to be involved is to comment on other blogs like crazy. That is good for them – who doesn’t love comments? – and good for you – drives traffic and gives link backs to your site.
