Anyone else still struggling to catch up to 2014? Let’s cling to the past together in this week’s Foto Friday.
Snapped in Scottsdale with my blogging buddy Athena! I adore the colours and the framing.
The kickass Belford Hostel in Edinburgh, housed in an old church and oozing with character.
No single photo can accurately sum up the vibe of New Orleans, unfortunately.
I’ll never forget the roar of this tiger at Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo.
I am head over heels for the striated colours that punctuate the Arizona desert.
I love all my photos from the otherworldly White Sands like children, so picking this shot was kind of a crapshoot.
Massachusetts in autumn needs no introduction.
Icelandic horses FTW!
The sunsets in Italy restore your faith in the world.
The Colosseum is infinitely more impressive by night.
I just had to capture this scene in Viterbo.
It is truly impossible to take a bad photo on Santorini.
Prague’s Dancing House; the tram happened to come along at just the right time and complete the image.
Ballerina meets skate park in London.
Vietnam’s Amazing Cave is proof that Mother Nature is a BAMF.
Some things are the same all over the world, as I found in this tranquil wee spot near a monastery in Hue.

Siem Reap’s sultry side.
A day cruising the Thai islands is never wasted.
Very nice.
What kind of camera gear?
Canon 1000D with standard lens – nothing too fancy.
might not be too fancy, but you shoot like a pro.
Dawww. I definitely take a lot more duds than I do winners – blind luck plays a big part, haha.
That Prague Dancing House photo is amazing! All of the photos are amazing actually.
Your Vietnam photos are getting me excited about my upcoming trip this Monday! 😀
[…] My Favourite Photos of 2013 by NZ Muse […]
All the photos are amazing and it’s incredible what you got to see and experience last year. No wonder you’re having hard time catching up to 201~^^
Amazing shots!! The ballerina was there for a show, or just happened to be there? I love that purple bike – was someone riding it or was it there for display?
Just there, lucky for us! I don’t know about the bike, that was a happy discovery too .. I assumed it was parked there but it’s quite possible it was on display – the purple bouquets on the doorway are the same colour.
Siem Reap is my favourite shot (the one of the lanterns)… and then the Icelandic ponies.
Wow! Some absolutely amazing photos in there…looks like you had an amazing year for travel. Glad to have found your blog and safe travels int he future!
Beautiful photos!! I love them all. I can’t even pick a favorite.
Gorgeous! All of them. That tiger roar is pretty amazing.
