Friday Five: Around the world in flavours

Most couples probably reminisce about their travels over photographs.

We kinda do the same thing … with our tummies.

I’d love to relive (in no particular order):

Flan in Paris

Filo pie in Greece

Deli subs in New York

Pho in Vietnam

All things Italian

An honourable mention also to a few beverages: watermelon smoothies, sugarcane juice, pink lemonade.

Mmmm…food is one of my favorite things about travel and some of my happiest memories revolve around eating. I’m looking forward to eventually making it over to some of the Asian countries for all of their amazing food.

I haven’t travelled as extensively, but some of my favourites food memories are: Massaman curry in Pai, Thailand
Laap near the Vietnam border in Laos
    Peking duck in Beijing
Snake soup and weasel coffee in Hanoi, Vietnam
Wonton noodle soup in Hong Kong

Loved this one: all things Italian (bc I feel the exact same way)! I’d add mango sticky rice and pad thai from Thailand. It’s tough to narrow it down to only 5… 🙂
